The Rheumatic Fever Prevention Programme is a triple partnership between Turanga Health, Ngati Porou Hauora and Tairawhiti District Health. We have been jointly contracted by the Ministry of Health to provide throat swabbing services in an effort to reduce the rate of Acute Rheumatic Fever in Tairawhiti.
The B4 School Check is a free health check for four year olds.
Outreach Immunisation provides a home based immunisation service to those children and their families who are not accessing Gisborne’s Primary Health Organisations (GP practices) for their childhood immunisation events.
